In Sinu Jesu by: A Benedictine Monk- The subtitle of this beautiful book is When Heart Speaks to Heart: The Journal of a Priest at Prayer.  
The author records the words he heard from Jesus while at prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus has called him to be a "priest adorer" to make reparation for his brother priests.

The Dark Night of the Soul by: St. John of the Cross
I am concentrating particularly on what this great saint has to say on the stages of prayer.

                                                           There is a workbook that goes along with this book that is quite      
                                                            helpful. The author uses the teachings of seven
                                                          Doctors of the Church as guides for the spiritual life.

                                                          Divine Mercy in My Soul: The journal of St. Faustina
                                                           This is one of my favorites. No matter how often I go back to
                                                         this book, I always learn something new.

                                                          Divine Intimacy by:Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D.
                                                          The meditations are so beautiful. The book is set up according to
                                                         the Pre-Vatican II liturgical year but is easily adaptable to the
                                                          current liturgical year.
